Foxborough Public Schools Professional Development Team is hosting the D-W January 21, 2022 PD day Getting What You Need to Succeed with MTSS.. All morning topics are on the schedule that was sent through your school e-mail. Please make your selections for afternoon choice sessions, The day begins at 8:30 AM and sessions end at 2:30 PM with a one-hour break for lunch. Please choose which session you will attend to fill your fill time slots (12:00 - 2:30 PM).
As educators, we all know the importance of reaching our students' hearts and minds in this ever-changing world. This session will help you find a "just right book" for each of CASEL's 5 social-emotional competencies. We'll share possible lesson ideas, conduct open discussions with other practitioners, and send you off with plenty of great titles from early picture books to YA literature. The ultimate goal is to enhance social-emotional learning in your classroom and beyond. (Repeat workshop from FPS's 2018 and 2019 Summer Institute due to positive feedback.)
