The session could focus on explaining and providing examples of our Landmark Teaching Principles (provide opportunities for success, use multi-sensory approaches, micro-unit and structure tasks, ensure automatization through practice and review, provide models, and include students in the learning process).  These teaching principles are a great framework to keep in mind when supporting students 1:1, in small groups or in general education settings.  It can also open up a conversation around how much to support students without providing too much help and fostering independence.  Then the presentation could give an overview of some key ideas to think about in terms of differentiated instruction.
